Fork extensions, also known as fork extenders, slip-on or slip-over sleeves for forklifts, are the ideal solution when you regularly need to load or unload goods that are larger than the length of your standard forklift forks. Our extended forks are custom-made to fit your current forklift forks. They are safe and easy to use.

Selecting the Right Fork Extensions (also known as oversleeves or fork extenders)

  • Any length is possible, but to be legally compliant, the existing, fixed fork must be at least 60% of the fork extension!
  • The open model is only suitable for light loads, and with the open extension, the existing, fixed fork must be at least 50% of the fork extension.
  • The maximum weight and center of gravity must match those of the forklift.
  • The internal width must be matched to that of your forklift forks.

Load Capacity

  • The load capacity is determined by us based on the combination of the forklift forks and the extension forks. The length of the forklift forks has a significant impact on the load capacity.

  • In principle, every set of extension forks we supply is custom-made, but if your size is not listed in the price list? Or if you wish certain options that you can't find on our website? Please contact us, we specialize in custom solutions.

By Order Only

  • Extension forks must meet strict standard requirements. For example, the internal size of the extension forks must be matched to the forklift forks. And also, the working load must be calculated separately for each situation, and stated on the extension forks themselves. Because there are extremely many combinations possible, it is not possible to keep extension forks of every size in stock. We produce every set of extension forks to order.
